We didn't want this to feel formal and big. And I think we achieved that here.

Whatever they end up doing as adults, they'll have to be highly technical and computer literate.

This is when you have an impact on kids. I want them to realize that math and science isn't boring.

It's nice to see how students respond when given the responsibility. One teacher noted that a student who would normally be a problem in other situations was working with other students in trying to get them organized for one of the events.

We want parents to feel comfortable.

It's good because the parents and visitors get to come and talk about what they do to the students, and the students feel good because a lot of them know who the presenters are. Everyone has a good feeling.
