We didn't do that last game against them. And they smoked us. We had to play our own game, do our thing, and that was the strategy for us.

It's one thing to do it as freshmen, it's another thing to do it last year. But to go out on top as seniors, it's the best feeling. I can't even describe it.

We were around .500, struggling, at 5-6 at one point, and we just weren't playing hockey. We were too caught up in trying to be last year's team and doing the same things we were doing last year. We needed to find our own identity, and we did that.

They made us play the way they wanted us to play.

Des made a great individual play on that [first] touchdown. He had a great game for us.

Going through that experience last time made us think about how every play mattered. It's good to stick it to them.
