The toll on the families is horrific. It is difficult enough placing someone in a nursing home, there is guilt, there is concern about care.

Very few people plan for a stay in a nursing home. And I think that is because they think it will happen to someone else, or that they'll be able to live out their natural lives at home.

At the time it seemed like it was an astronomical amount of money. We just couldn't handle it.

This could be a real boon to Quincy and to Grant County. It's bringing renewed optimism to the people of the town, especially the business owners. We're interested to see where it takes us.
