We did a better job of controlling the ball and converting on Bisbee's turnovers. We like to shoot the ball 60 to 70 times in a game, we were short of that, but shot well enough to win.

We played a much cleaner game. We did not force as many turnovers as we should have, but we dominated on the boards and shot free throws. It was a good conference win.

We really needed this win to put ourselves in a better spot for state. Everyone contributed.

We struggled with our shooting. We have to play better to beat a powerhouse team like Thatcher. This team is capable of doing just that. We have to play better as a team. Again, this was an important conference victory.

I can't ignore what I grew up listening to. My parents used to listen to Michael Jackson non-stop. They used to listen to Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder.

The bottom line is we took command of that ballgame in the second half and that's been our strong point recently. It was a little crazy at the end -- we didn't handle the ball well and tried to score instead of running clock -- but the kids followed the game plan and hung with it.
