We can't let them play their up-tempo style. We won't be able to run with them. They are playing well, despite having lost three, 1,000 (career) point scorers from last season. They haven't really missed a beat. We need to slow this game down.

We didn't play well enough to win. It was a situation of playing against the game a little bit. Foul shots is against the game. Open threes is against the game. LIU played well and they beat us, but we lost it, too.

He's stronger and in a little bit better shape than he's been. And you can't play good without having a little confidence. I don't know what came first — making the decision to be in better condition, or then going after it. When you have the ability and you're disguising it, you won't do as well as if you're willing to showcase it a little.

When we're playing well, we're usually on the run. If we can rebound and play solid defense, things are going well. Our defense leads to offense.

I'm actually very hopeful because I think we're starting to play a style that fits us. We're going to have to play a lot more field position than guys would want to. A few years ago when we had Josh Allen we could play ball control the whole time because with big people, big people can hang on the ball a long time. Little people can't.

We like to take advantage of our up-tempo style. We like to play 94 feet of pressure defense.
