We can't control what happened, we can't control what has been lost. What we can control is how we fight to take that control back, and the voice within us is powerful in doing so....

Facing the fear in order to heal is so much more important than the fear itself. The fear will fade in time and you will become stronger than you ever imagined.

So many times I felt like giving up, like it wasn't worth it....It, I was never going to get better. But, in the end I kept fighting, taking the deep breaths and fighting again, getting up and fighting again. I'm just too stubborn to give up. And now, I thrive, I'm determined and strong. The fight is hell on earth, but you do get to a better place. Living a life in that whole, in that darkness was not an option for me, I had no choice but to fight.

Becoming empowered and beginning to talk and take back control is a scary thing....very scary. Those that want to keep us down are afraid of that too. But, becoming empowered is necessary.... People couldn't shut me up now if their life depended on it....

Never give up. Keep pressing on, hold on tight and fight. Healing is within your reach and is yours for the taking.

Face the monster, you know...the one that works overtime to keep you down. The one that tells you it was your fault, the one that tells you you deserved it, that you didn't fight hard enough, that tells you you trusted him so what did you expect, the one that tells you things will never get better. That monster....he's a liar. Get to know him, and then kick him to the curb!
