We can trust our doctors to be professional, to minister equally to their patients without regard to their political or religious beliefs. But we can no longer trust our professors to do the same.

The health exception is based on professional respect and regard for doctors. Health is anything a doctor says it is, and neither legislators nor judges should be redefining it. I don't think it can be abused.

For some of these patients, he's more important than the doctors.

My book is fair comment. The criticism I have of professors is that they aren't professional. Some aren't professional in the classroom the ones portrayed in my book...they have an attitude toward the university that it should be their political soap box.

A university is not a political party, and an education is not an indoctrination.

I have no problem with professors being left-wing. The problem is if they bring political agendas to the classroom. Advocacy is a form of preaching -- not teaching.
