My problem was with the process and not Jim Francis.

I'm coming from the standpoint that this is the most important decision a Town Council can make. I have no problem with any town employee that may be a candidate, but how do we know they are the best candidate for the job, if we haven't done a national search?

I will not support this application because I feel that it brings up a public safety issue. The pharmacy is located in an extremely congested parking lot and adding a drive thru will not make it any more pedestrian friendly.

This deals with the right of free speech and we cannot regulate that. We must do what is right for the taxpayers and voters of this town and let them decide if they want to put them up or not.

It's unfortunate, given high gas prices, that the president hasn't taken the opportunity to offer real solutions for drivers, ... minuscule.
