If you take a look back, our basic educational system is based on the Greek system. To the Greeks, PE and music were the two curriculum areas that they held as most important. It has to be balanced.

Colleges and departments of education have developed in response to the need for preparing the tens of thousands of teachers required to staff our immense public school system. That they have a most important function to discharge is plain for all to see. But instead of seeing that their products are equipped with sound learning in the various arts and sciences, they have ignored this and have concentrated almost exclusively upon methods of education. They have erected pseudo-science called "Education," most of whose courses are made up of commonplaces expressed in pretentious jargon.

In the educational domain, searching for depth, value, benefit and mark are matters that need to be the absolute priorities. There is no other option that explains neglecting them and caring about other matters that are only sparkling and have a bright that would soon fade, since they have no basis to support them, nor roots to protect them, nor shadow laying on earth for them.

La escuela debería seducir, enamorar. Ser ese escenario donde todos los días los alumnos al salir explicasen en sus casas y entornos qué han aprendido, cómo y para qué, con entusiasmo, y al día siguiente al llegar a la escuela también contar qué han aprendido, cómo y para qué con sus amigos, con sus tutores y con su familia. Y generar mariposas en el estómago.
