We came out firing with the two home runs. Our bats kind of went quiet in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings. We came to life in the sixth inning.

We talked before the start of the game that if we made plays in the field it would help our pitching. That happened.

There was a play at the plate, but it wasn't close.

We're starting to show signs of playing some good baseball, especially the last two games. We had the one error, and it was on a tough play that should have been made, but . . .

We were trying some guys out. Hopefully, they learned from some of their mistakes.

We kind of hung in there all game long. Nobody believed we were out of it at any time of the game.
