We call for restraint in passing a law that would fast track the creation of a national health information system.

There is no explanation for this increase.

Having a physician lose his employment and potentially lose his ability to obtain employment anywhere as a punishment for speaking out will have a chilling effect on doctors' willingness to do so, to the detriment to patients' health.

We obviously have worked with the FDA and we're moving forward to make this information available to health care professionals and patients so that informed treatment decisions can be made.

HHS has removed basic health information on one site at the demands of an extremist group, and has completely omitted all content about GLBT youth on another. This is outrageous and unacceptable. We're proud of Rep. Baldwin's call to action on this matter of basic fairness.

That would be useful information so we could judge whether the sensitivity programs that the law-enforcement officials go through are effective or not.
