We backed off a little bit, pitch-count wise. I anticipate he'll be ready to be Randy Johnson on Monday.

Moose was great; we ran the pitch count up more than we wanted to, but he was a trooper tonight. He had the one bad inning, but he battled his tail off. We just didn't give him anything to work with.

When you set up your rotation and you have a guy like Randy Johnson, you certainly have a great deal of confidence. He just wasn't able to locate his pitches ... It just didn't get any easier for him.

We don't want to mess with Randy and Moose.

His blood count was off. We backed off, put some stamina works in him, and we're ready.

I think Randy was getting a little upset that they weren't swinging. He was throwing hard, and he had a couple that were close shaves.
