The kids were focused coming into tonight. All the distractions that I was worried about seemed to go away.

He was rusty. He played wide receiver last year and last week with everything going on our practice was a little disruptive. He is seeing the field and knowing his mistakes. It is good to see that he knows what is happening.

We started out sluggish. But they are just cool. They had it under control. I think I worried more than they did.

It's a great feeling. It has been a long time since we were 1-0.

The kids did a nice job. Tumwater is a pretty good shooting team. We just gave up the two big runs.
