We are police officers. We don't sit back and watch. We have to get out and do something. Being able to do something means a lot.

Every time I feel sorry for myself having to do this, I just look at the people who have to go through this every day. They have to live without somebody in their life. Whatever I have to go through is minuscule compared to that.

Occasionally we had to carry a body bag out of there. Some were heavy like a full body and some weren't.

Sept. 11 changed our lives in a lot of ways.

You have to give Lynn Police credit for making such a quick arrest. It just goes to show you that that if you're going to rob a bank, in the not-so-distant future you will be spending a night in the local house of corrections.

We got one limping in, ... We got a police car limping in with a flat.
