We are pleased the San Pedro River is out of the equation. We hope to work with the Border Patrol on planning for the rest of the border infrastructure, to make sure environmental considerations are included.

The larger issue is everything we do now shifts that traffic and that damage somewhere else. So we're effectively spreading the damage across the border by continuing to implement this policy.

What little public input is allowed now would be completely shut off.

I hope they come away seeing they can do anything and be anything and that they need to prepare for their future. I hope they see math and science and technology careers are real options -- and I hope they have an idea of what they want to do and be when they grow up.

We wouldn't exist without the very hard work of volunteers.
