We are hoping that the French government will second a technical director to Kenya in line with a promise they made last year.

We are still awaiting the resumption of financial assistance from Fifa. We are confident the money will be coming soon so we can offset some of the debts we have incurred on the boys and girls teams and also arrange for better training facilities for the boys before their next match.

If National leads the government after Saturday, I can promise the first thing on my agenda will be to get to the bottom of this.

Both sides can agree on a change of date if the referees arrived late but this would have to be within 72 hours of the scheduled match day. The rules are, however, silent on the visiting team coming late.

We hope the sporting spirit of football will prevail and the two sides can play to decide who qualifies for the next round.
