We are following the state's priorities. The less population, the lower down the chain. We're triaging, putting the resources in the bigger cities. Now we have enough resources to handle this end of it.

We get staff that mirror the population that they're serving.

It's just a heavy strain on the local population, ... Things like gas and food are becoming an issue. The traffic has increased tremendously and that's caused a lot more tension in the city.

We are a high-stress population. The bungalow is a wonderful place to insulate oneself from external energy and to be with your family in an environment that is restful to the eyes and harmonious. I think that is the attraction — that the bungalow gives retreat from daily life that is increasingly more complicated.

We're going to have a mixed reaction because folks in our classrooms are representative of the population. Some are eager to use new technology and others would rather use pencil and paper.

Mitchell's two dives were real tough. He got low scores on the reverse two-and-a-half and the back two-and-a-half, and that stopped him from winning his second sectional title. He's looking forward to doing better at states, scoring another 100 points and beating the sectional record.
