We are Africans, and we should be confident in our leaders. Because unless we give them the power, unless we give them our consent concerning these matters, they cannot lead us.

We will continue shouldering the responsibility for serving the interests of the summit and the people of Africa.

It is not a matter of presidency that concerns Sudan. It is the success of the summit...and the success of the African Union leaders.

Do not use police power and might to kick the people.

If he has some concerns about Turkey entering the EU, perhaps Muslim leaders from around the world can sit with him and try and allay some of his concerns. But I think the attitude, the basic attitude of respect and tolerance is one that we hope to see from the new pope.
