We appreciate their help with the meal and Al Barnes provided homemade cakes which were a real hit. This was our third event and each year it has grown. We're grateful for the support from the golf community.

We think it's good the tournament is drawing from Charlotte and I'm sure Lancaster area golfers will be prepared to take back the title next year.

It all came together well and we finished in four hours and 10 minutes which is probably a record for a captain's choice tournament. There was a lot of work involved, but it's for a good cause and that makes it very worthwhile.
