We all dressed Western. That's the image that Carrol put out to the community. He had us wearing Western hats. Most of us wore Western boots. At one time they had us wearing black ties.

We didn't have a lot of staff, and there wasn't a big budget for the department.

We had some culture issues in those years. We had some drug issues, but Carrol always maintained an even keel. It didn't matter who he dealt with. He was a down-to-earth, fair gentleman.

She is a playmaker. At halftime, she told her teammates to follow her and she would lead us back. We have demanded a lot of her as far as being a leader, and she has taken this team on her back.

If we're up at all during the game -- 3-0, 7-0 -- that's on us.

I still think that these three original suspects still know more than what they told us.
