Turning a broken process into a “non-negotiable” standard does not a good procedure make.

Example of bad management in denial: Forcing compliance of broken or ill-conceived processes by turning them into “non-negotiable” standards. Doing so is not only foolhardy; it’s downright asinine, and at times even potentially disastrous.

It takes more than talking points and consultative knowhow. What sets apart a legitimate and competent advisor from an everyday business consultant is his ability to not only provide recommendations, but indeed stand behind them, and endeavor to personally implement them.

This is non-negotiable at this point. You waited too long.
