Tonight we did a good job at the plate of driving guys in.

We battled. We did the best we could, and all in all, it was a good year. A lot of our young players got experience, and we have a bright future.

I had a hit-and-run, double-steal (called). We got mixed up. We ended up getting picked off at first and thrown out at second. That was a momentum killer right there.

We just got sloppy at the end. We can't walk batters. We had way too many walks.

In my eyes, we blew this game. We never gave up, but in the end somebody's got to lose.

No one really had to say anything when we got down because there's an understanding. There's a tradition, and it continues.
