Today, I expected it to go down like it did. There were no real surprises at all.

Maybe the most important thing about this team compared to last is the sheer depth. All the players 1-4 could play anywhere 1-4. Likewise 5-8. That really helps the kids develop in practice.

This weekend was great. Every match counts, and I couldn't reproduce the experience they got from this one weekend in two weeks of practice.

For the first time since I've been here I'm seeing a team that's very cohesive. There's a lot more expectations between player and coach.

That really surprises me because generally this season we've been able to bounce back after a bad game. We've just got to get some confidence back now.

I live for unpredictability and surprise, and I can assure you that the biggest surprises are still on their way.
