To me, that would be best of all situations. Maybe that will make people say it's a good movie and want to see it. It wouldn't be so easy to make it go away.

I really empathize with someone who takes on something like that. People are so quick to make the easy joke. They should be able to look past that, or you would hope they would. It just tells a story. You don't have to agree with it. Some people say it's promoting this and that, but you have to overlook that and look at the story.

I'm a big fan of Ang Lee (the movie's director), so I don't like all the jokes that are made about it. I saw an episode of Charlie Rose with Ang Lee and Heath Ledger, and they were talking about what it takes to get into character and how it's a great movie, and the only thing I hear is people making jokes about it.

The current situation is unacceptable. As we repopulate, stuff will happen. People using chainsaws will cut themselves, there will be auto accidents, and people will have heart attacks. We have to get up and running.

You never know what people will choose to be offended by.

The Woman of the Year Awards remind us of the value of gender diversity in the Hispanic economy, and this year's honorees are a real tribute to the achievements of Hispanic women throughout the United States.
