Life is a but a series of memories as we move through the passage of time, chapter by chapter; So pen your own destiny.

My fondest memories were in 1998 when I got called up for the first time. Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa were having the real home-run derby. Being a part of that and seeing that up close was really something.

Every time I look at the tape -- at how skinny and how little I was -- it brings back those memories, ... I played with some great guys that year in Cleveland. It's kind of tough to put it away.

Time will age everything except your best memories.
