Hunting is an extremely safe sport.

Hunting accidents aren't big news. They're pretty rare.

Typically, (hunters) walk abreast, have a zone of fire they're aware of, but at any one moment, things can happen. One gets behind, though, I can certainly understand how that scenario played out, but it's case to case.

I was very upset when I found the tree in that condition, damaged by the storm. But now it's alive again.

I recently turned fifty, which is young for a tree, midlife for an elephant, and ancient for a quarter miler, who's son now says, "Dad, I just can't run the quarter with you anymore unless I bring something to read."
