Through all that's going on, people expect us to stay strong. I just think it's important that we keep reassuring them of everything that's positive.

A lot of people said it couldn't be done. A lot of us thought it couldn't. We didn't have uniforms. We didn't have instruments. [For] guys, it's a pride thing. They don't want to take orders from girls.

I like new challenges -- I'm following someone strong, ... I'm hoping this will be the place to stay.

We wanted something so people who are interested in the program can stay in touch. I think it's going to be especially useful for alumni who are out of the area now.

Even if we marched without the uniforms, even if we marched without the marching 100, you know, it's in us, you can't take our spirit away.

If you don't exercise, you don't stay strong. I like to work with talented people.
