Those 18 girls, the experience they had together and just getting to know each other so well and literally living with each other for seven days, it has to help. They almost came together like a college team.

The 18 girls making the trip have worked very hard to fund-raise for the trip. They are all very excited.

It was great. The weather was beautiful. We were on just beautiful, well-manicured diamonds every day. We played and practiced right where the Atlanta Braves had their spring training. It was quite an experience for everybody.

The top five girls ran very well as a pack. This was a great opening experience for several of the first time high school runners. All the girls that ran competed well and we are all looking forward to a successful season. Everyone is working hard at practice.

We have a lot of girls from successful programs that have experience playing under pressure. They are an adaptable group that we will surely count on almost immediately.

The girls don't like to lose, ... They were like, 'We don't want to experience that again.'
