This year we had an exceptional committee, ... I would like to give kudos to them for all their hard work.

It is well deserved that they recognize people who are working very hard to provide safety for our children, especially with all the water in our community, ... I can't say enough about Dottie and her dedication, not only to the children, but to the community.

She used to be real hard on herself last year and would get frustrated. I think she's worked through that now — this year I don't see it. I see her more focused. Right now, I think she's our most consistent hitter. She's our leader right now, so that's another reason we need her on the court.

This was probably the worst defensive game we've had this year; this was horrendous. We just had a hard time executing anything we wanted to do (on offense) and sometimes our kids do that; let me know if you find out how to get them to do what you ask.

I am fine, though it is hard to think of what kind of work to make at this point, other than decorative, escapist or abstract. I suppose I'll explore one or all of these things.

That was our dilemma last year. We have a No. 2 by committee and that may be the same this year. We're looking for someone to step up and fill that roll. I think we enough guys to fill that spot.
