This will give Sears good positioning on the near-term basis with AOL, but, on a longer-term basis, it probably could be a fabulous opportunity for them. It depends upon when broadband will become of age.

It's a good, strategic move, a good partnership. Sears is trying to jump into the e-commerce world in a pretty big way, focusing on their strengths and their hardware lines and appliances and home areas.

I think they're only in the first or second inning of a turnaround. They've done a miraculous job, but I think there's much more to come.

I really want to hear him say how he's going to energize Sears. I want to hear what he's going to do differently. I want to hear him say how aggressively he's going to grow Great Indoors and how he's going to get women to come into the store.

Every once in while, a person will do something obvious and direct that is no more than it appears to be. I think they do it to throw you off.
