This was once a great program and a lot of great players have come through here. There's a lot of talent in this area.

We had a couple of good chances, but we didn't get it done. You can only pitch so good for so long. We didn't put the pressure we needed to on 'em.

We have one of the better defensive outfields I've ever seen. These guys can go get it.

We're losing too many kids to out-of-county schools. We don't have one kid from Watsonville and that's a shame. Last time I was here, they were instrumental in our success.

But they never mentioned it. Really, the bottom line is in my four years as an NCAA member, the lack of communication is mind-boggling.
