This was an embarrassment. To play great the whole season and not bring home a district championship, it's like the season was ruined tonight.

It's a typical case of us looking ahead. The state rankings came out today and we were ranked fourth, but we certainly didn't play like it.

This was absolutely an important win for us. We had been out of sink in our last few games. We came out and put it all together tonight. Johnny was great tonight, and he's been like this all season. That's why he's our ace.

He was shaking and there was blood on his hands. I've lived here 40 years, and nothing like this has ever happened. This is a mixed neighborhood with some young people and some older people.

Gary did a really terrific job tonight; he's going to be a big key for us all season.
