This meeting was like many of the meetings that I would go to over the course of two years. The only way I can describe it is that, well, the president is like a blind man in a roomful of deaf people. There is no discernible connection.

A blind man sees not with his eyes, but with his heart. A deaf man hears with his soul and mind, not with his ears. The majority of others see with prejudice and hear with arrogance. If there is no light and sounds travel nowhere, won't we all be the same?

Julia was blind and deaf to to the truth. She was ignorant. Did one reprove a blind woman for inability to see? Did one become angry with the deaf for not hearing?

Those that rule must hear and be deaf, must see and be blind.
