This man knew how to live. He was the authentic embodiment of a dream, ancient wanderer. He lived it. Talked it. Felt it. Fought it until at last the magic of his dream power became to us what it was to him.

What I am is a thinking, feeling human being compelled by history.

What a magnificent man. This man knew how to live. He gave us so much to last many lifetimes.

He taught us that to stand and be counted was the way to be.

Until the world in some way changes, then my responsibility is to share what I know and more importantly to behave like I know about the extraordinary work and effort and blood shed for me to be able to sit here.
