This is the time of year it always happens.

We have always held students accountable to all state requirements. We believed this would be a consistent message to the community.

But the practice began at Maple Creek, and historically we had the greatest number of parents stay overnight at that school.

We realized we were impacting these families more than we needed.

We had been told by other participating districts to expect an initial enrollment of 500 students.

They're really wanting to create an environment of continuous education. By providing a single principal ... there would be even more continuity.
