This is the South Park generation. The conservative activism is fun, and it rings with the students in the same way that the left did in the '60s and early '70s.

We don't support any kind of activism or anything like that. It's mainly just research. And we send students from the U.S. to the tropics to the Organization for Tropical Studies where they do semesters of research on tropics, on tropical research and frogs and amphibians of all kinds.

What we're really trying to do is build student activism and get students passionate about their community through arts and music, and other forms of outreach.

It's really (conservative students) who need to see what gay soldiers look like. We want to avoid preaching to the choir.
