This is our second consecutive victory at this meet. Last year we won with 80 points. This year we scored 83. All in all, it was a very nice day.

To get under 3:30, that is amazing.

Alex Knight was a big victory for us. It was a bit of redemption for Olympus. He beat Ryan Gonzales of Payson, who was a defending champion, and two years ago Gonzales beat a guy from Olympus that was a defending champ. It felt good to kind of get a payback.

I was really happy that it was our defense that keyed (the victory). Obviously, Chase made some big plays, and other guys did, too, but the (defense) was big.

We're pretty happy about it, because we won. It was a major victory. We got back what we had fought for and saved hunting season for about 1,200 hunters.
