This is one of those golf courses that suits my eye I guess you could say. I'm hitting the ball as good as I've hit it in awhile. I'm hitting my irons shots as good as ever and today something clicked with the putter.

I'm disappointed in the finish but I'll get over it. That is golf.

It's a dream come true. I can't wait to get over there and see what's it's all about. I birdied one and two, and then had a double bogey on three and was a bit scratchy for most of the day. But I finished off strongly in the last four or five holes. It's good to make it through.

Lying on my back (in a hospital bed) seven years ago, I wouldn't have thought about playing the Open or doing this for a living.

It's a dream come true. I can't wait to get over there and see what's it's all about.

I reminded myself I was still in with a chance providing I play decent around the back nine.
