This is not about catching people, but about preventing problems and making sure the dollars we allocate go to kids and education.

I want to get it out to the kids that if you have problems, people need to know about it. I don't want parents to go through what I have to go through right now. Tell a parent, tell a friend or a neighbor if you're feeling down and out. Vent to somebody you can trust. And parents, take time to listen.

We got to take care of the people at home, before we try solving everyone else's problems. I'm 72. There's not enough being done to provide good health coverage.

Our kids, our families are no different than anybody else's. They have the same hopes and dreams. They have people who love them.

Houses are cellular walls; they keep our problems from bleeding into everyone else's.

We need to get the street kid out of these kids. If we don't, we have problems, and that's the biggest thing to get out of these kids.
