This is my choice, and I've chosen to stay as the AD. I want to be involved in the total athletic programs at the school, and this is the only way I feel I can do it.

There could be realignment down the road, and it's probably going to be a hot topic. Boulder High just wants to be in the mix for that. We just want to be a player.

Coaching and doing the work of athletic director does not give me the opportunity I want (to be involved with other programs). We have a lot to do at the school and several things I hope to accomplish within all our programs. I want to give them all the attention they deserve.

My choice place would have been to stay in East Hampton.

I want someone in this job who is my choice. I told Dan he has worked hard and has worked diligently to rebuild the farm system and scouting department of the Reds, and that we appreciate his efforts.
