This is just a time to recognize them for their faithfulness to the church and to the Lord, and they always need to feel special.

Senior adults need to know that they're still worthy, still useful and that they still have something to offer. Because of their wisdom and life experience, they still have something to offer our churches.

There's also a concern that what you do for the church be of the highest standard.

The fact is, this church is real close, and we've basically lost two people that we love so much.

We must do our business faithfully, without trouble or disquiet, recalling our mind to God mildly, and with tranquility, as often as we find it wandering from him.

Believing in our goals to the point of acting upon them as though they are real already is the ultimate test of our faith and faithfulness -- and the ultimate trigger for their realization when the time is right.
