This is a tremendous wake-up call for the church,

[After the 9/11 attacks, attendance at Living Word Church swelled for several Sundays and a few people found salvation in Christ.] It only lasted about a month, but now our whole church is turned upside down and people are afraid about the future, ... We're working around the clock, and we know things won't be the same for a good while.

I bought three suits from him earlier. There is an image that goes with going to church. . . . It is a tradition that we have in the black church. . . . We have to go to church presentable as well, because people should recognize that we are worshipping.

We are organizing and training church and civic groups throughout the state to carry out a targeted door-to-door petition drive.

I am convinced it is, then our churches are filled with believers who are hurting, to one degree or another, whether visible or unseen. Some come every Sunday clinging to a thread of hope that somehow the church will be the body of Christ that supports them, offers a word of hope, and helps them find a way to walk through the storm with God instead of without God.

One area of interest to us is identity management. One technology that we would be interested in looking at is smart-card technology with respect to accessing IT services. We're interested in using smart cards for user log-ins.
