This is a month that has a spiritual feel to it, which condones the issue of jihad [holy war].

If it's a war between Sunni and Shiite, this war might be extended from Lebanon to Afghanistan .

Already they are making a difference in parliament. For the first time in years, the [ruling] National Democratic Party is feeling that it is not alone and that there's this dedicated, unified 20-percent bloc in the opposition.

Here in Egypt, his name doesn't represent anything for us.

The most important thing for them is to go to the polling stations to test their real power and to train their members in preparation for the parliamentary elections (later this year).

The timing of the release is important, and bewildering. Is this a message to the outside world or to the Muslim Brothers? I'm not sure.
