This is a continuation of a trend of e-learning being adopted more and more widely. [E-learning] has been getting bigger for the last 10 years, and it has not yet fully penetrated the market.

The difficulty with combating piracy in any form in a country like Russia is that it has become so accepted that you have to change the population's mindset. Doing that will take time, but creating programs that address intellectual property is an important step forward.

In the economy we are in now, there will not be the same investment in technology, but we are demanding of employees greater productivity. In order to [achieve] that you need to give [employees] internal tools to make them work smarter. If you invest in the worker's skill set overall, you should be able to see a change in productivity.

Kids are basically little learning machines. Whatever the content is in front of them, they're going to pick it up.

The Standards Unit has done a tremendous job in developing teaching and learning material and that's hugely important. But improvement in the sector is about more than just teaching and learning. There are all the other aspects of what makes a provider.
