They've been having a ball. They show off for each other. It's just getting to be that time of year, I guess. Even after 57 years, for Snooty, that still means something.

Our mistakes turn singles into doubles and triples. For us to win we have to score a lot of runs, and against quality pitching that's hard to do. Dexter is probably one of the top two or three teams we've played this year.

You hate to see a game like this. Even if you win you feel bad. But we got a chance to get our bats going and we got some valuable experience for our pitcher.

Lara Ford pitched a decent game; she still walked too many but came up with the big out when she had to have it. That's the first time we've beaten Advance in softball in quite a while. If we can cut our walks down to five or six a game, we'll be pretty good.
