They're posturing right now to save their jobs.

Our Legislature should be dealing with unemployment and dealing with the state budget problems. They should not be talking about the state bird and all these other things have little interest to people out of work and dialing down their thermostats to deal with high heating costs.

They'll take a reduction in order to persist.

I expect yields to continue drifting higher. Anything that shows the jobs market is strong gives more ammunition to the Fed to keep raising rates.

One of the easiest jobs you have in this town right now is under the eight-minute mark, being a perimeter player on our team. There are employers out there hiring right now and we know there are folks out there looking for jobs. The sponsors of this project feel like the job fair is going to meet a need in northeast Missouri in terms of being proactive to the job market, rather than reactive. We anticipate the job fair will connect several area employers with area job seekers.
