They're glad they're having a class, but they didn't quite know whether they would be up to par.

For a lot of them, they feel as if there're so many Spanish-speaking people to begin with. They would like to reach out to these individuals and communicate in a different way.

There needed to be some kind of forum, to talk about these kinds of things. (Seniors) come from a much softer, much gentler point of view so the kids would be able to understand.

If they were able to talk about it, they were able to free up a lot of space. When they take that walk down memory lane, they could leave some of that burden behind them.

My sense is they're going to learn some patience, and I think they're going to feel very secure.

We're very proud of this class, and we feel that they're going to do a great job for their communities.
