They played solid today, we definitely hit the ball well. Last year we didn't hit the ball in this tournament, we just got a little lucky, this year we hit the ball well.

Alexis really came through the last three or four games. She continues to have quality at-bats and she continues to have confidence in herself, which is important for her.

I was very pleased that Dan got ahead of them today. Every pitcher likes to get ahead, and Danny did that today.

We saw some good things today and we saw some bad things. But if you come out and play your best game the first game of the season, you're in trouble.
