They just out-hit them, flat out. Nobody was expecting to play. We were goofing off all day. We were goofing off in the dugout before the game.

He wants it to be great. He phoned me every day just to check in, to see if there's anything I need. It's great to have someone with that kind of enthusiasm. It makes you work harder.

It's not over though, there are still a lot of points to play for.

We play in one of the toughest leagues in San Diego. You just don't get a breather in this league.

Two could've been out, but you gotta play them in that situation.

In a regional championship, anything can happen. You've just got to come out, play your game, get after it for four quarters and let the chips fall where they may.
