They give the kids a good preparation for the states. When you go to the districts or regions, you have to be ready to wrestle three or four times against tough competition. The kids have to realize they need to be prepared for whatever comes at them at this level.

They're kids. They're going to get up for certain matches and after that it's hard for them to keep that energy level for three matches. It's an emotional day, especially if you have a big meet first.

All of our energy, all of our preparation is going into this game. We hope that our kids will get to bed early and get their rest and come out ready to play Saturday afternoon at Parkland against a great Paterson Catholic team, but our first priority has got to be Central Catholic.

We were trying to win seven matches, and maybe steal 103, but we couldn't get it done today. They are a more experienced team, but no one bowed on our side. We just went up against a better team today.

We're definitely ready. We've been to the playoffs before, so we know what to expect. We wrestle in the first round Tuesday night, so we're anxious.

That's the style we teach, and they performed well.
